1/29
This is the day I heard the heart beat again. Woo Hoo! Also, set the date for the BIG ultrasound. Christmas is coming early this year, Feb 26 in fact. Boy vs. Girl-what are we thinking?

There is nothing like staying home from work. Seriously, these days are few are far between, but when you are nursing a cold, it takes all you have to go outside. Luckily, I have made a great friend out here that got me out of the house and on a walk to a cute little boutique down the street.
Me an Brooke
And her darling children, Ellie and Will.
Cute Ellie, striking a pose!

1/24

So today was extremely boring, and the most exciting thing I did all day, besides church, was go to get the mail. So I took a picture of my mailbox and thought I would post that. Awesome, I know! But then I opened my mailbox and inside was package from a good friend of my mom's and the item(s) inside that package is what made it to the blog today. She knitted these tiny, perfect little booties for our baby! They are so cute, I can't wait to have tiny, perfect feet to put them on. Thanks, Andrea. What an incredible gift!

The makings of a truly rockin' saturday night.

This is a huge pile of laundry (and yes, there is more still in the dryer). But don't worry-while I sit here by myself, fighting a cold and folding laundry, I do have some people to keep me company.
Project Runway-season 7 & episode 2 (as well as Models of the Runway) and . . .
The O.C.

1/22 around 8:50 p.m.

Tonight I had my first meeting with my book club. We read this book and I highly recommend it. Excellent book.
This is a picture of my awesome book club! Yes, all two of us. We are just starting and we hope that next month more people will join us. But for now it is me and Rachel (from my ward). We decided to start a book club for women that work, because there are already two book clubs in our ward but they both meet in the afternoon, hence the new club that meets in the evening. OK-so that is it!

Sorry, I know I need to get hoppin'!

1/20 and 1/21

OK-So I know this is probably considered cheating a little bit, but these two days have been full of frustration and anger and STRESS! And these three emotions, when combined together ain't pretty. So I didn't take pics of what I was doing these days. Pretty sure it would scare the kids! Don't worry, things are coming back around, but we all know that 365 days in a year, you are bound to have at least 2 bad ones. :)

Jan. 23 @ 2:40

Watching my niece's ballroom dance competition. It was actually very entertaining.

One thing that I love about living with my parents is their fire. For the past few months I have hated being cold, so every day I come home after work and unwind and get warm by the fire.

Tuesday 1/19

San Jose, CA

This is how I spent my evening. Sitting in front of the tv watching The Bachelor eating vanilla ice cream with nerds! Delicious!

Jan. 19 @ 2:40

Provo, UT

If you can't tell this is my computer. I go from NextPage to FamilyLink every day and look at the same computer for 8 hours. If you can't tell it's a very blah day!

Yes this is my messy bookcase in my messy apartment. I am looking at it while reading my InStyle magazine thinking "I should be reading something from there, especially since I have my first book club meeting on Friday." But I can't be bothered to get off the couch and grab a book. So here I sit reading about Heidi Klum and "Anti-Aging Secrets Nobody Tells You."

1/18 @ 6:00pm

Skipped out on one of jobs today and hung out with Spencer! We went to Sherlock Holmes and we both enjoyed it.

Sunday 1/17

San Jose, CA

(Side note from yesterday-I was waiting for Mike to finish work and I took a picture of his building from the parking lot. I know, boring, but I seem to be doing this quite often, so I thought I would include this pic.)

Well, here I sit. Which is what I seem to be doing a lot of these days. I really ought to get out of the house, but I just have zero motivation. So, about an hour ago I suggested we go for a walk-and here I sit, waiting for Mike to finish some work. Now, I am not complaining-usually Mike is the one trying to get me to go out and do something and I get mad and don't want to go. So I shouldn't expect him to jump when I say so. Especially when he has a really busy week. I will just wait patiently. (And yes, the flowers on my table are dying-I just can't be bothered to throw them away. Maybe tomorrow. . .)

Saturday 1/16

San Jose, CA.

Well, today was rather uneventful (as Saturday's normally are). We took a trip to costco and made one very surreal purchase. Seriously? We just bought these? I guess you have to at some point.

Friday Night Action

Jan. 15 we had a relaxing Friday night. We went to Rumbi's and had some frozen yogurt which puts a smile on my face everytime. My thought is, it is never too cold for ice cream, ok maybe if you are shivering while eating it.

Friday 1/15 9:44 p.m.

Campbell, CA

We just got home and I am so excited. After a delicious steak dinner, we went and picked up my Christmas present! Woo Hoo! A portable ice maker! Not actually so portable, still I get ice in tiny cubes and I now have more space in my freezer for more popscicles! Life is good.

On a side note-I hope you enjoy the adventures of Paige Burgin and Steph Randle! 350 days of pure excitement!
